I’ve been asked about this quite a lot, so here goes the explanation.

English is the language of the Internet as far as I’m concerned, and until recently, all of my contributions to the ‘net in it. Be it here, in Twitter, in Facebook, everywhere.

This has somehow changed some time ago. It is really hard to comment on some friend’s wall or reply to a tweet or whatever, since most of them write in Spanish and it looks awkward.
Therefore, I’m planning on keeping my native language for social communications, and English for the blog and any other sort of non social documentation I write. I’d rather do this instead of creating two posts for each message (spam!) or posting in both languages a single message. 140 characters is short enough already.

Of course, this is not written in stone, and should the need arise for a social post to be published in English, it will be.
