I’ve recently read on an IRC channel’s topic about this nice tool to avoid flooding by pasting some large file’s contents or the like. Instead, it allows you to paste the whole stuff into an html text box, and gives you a unique URL to access it for 24 hours. It even provides highlighting for several known languages.
Since I first saw this, I’ve been using it not only for IRC, but for all other IM solutions. It is, at least, polite. And I would be very thankful if you used it when chatting with me

It’s GLP, you get your own private (or almost) domain and it has a longer list of languages for syntax highlighting.
